Only 600 of these were made to give to EMI staff as a present.
This issue has 2 CD's housed in a single jewel case with remastered
artwork as per the 1992 remaster and ‘old’ label design.
In front of the booklet is an additional insert. There is a blank CD.
“DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - FIRST AND LAST – EMI CD SWINDON
– 1986-2002” printed on the Matrix of the CD ;
"CDT740001-2-@ 1 :5:39" printed on the blank CD.

Why Dark Side of the Moon ?
Just because it "was the firts and last CD produced by EMI in Swindon".

MMIX / 2009
All
Pink Floyd CDs (and Rick Wright's Broken China as well) have been
re-pressed by ims in Italy, a new EMI pressing plant near Milan,
without any changes (no new catalogue number, nothing added - only the matrix numbers are different), save The
Wall Live (new barcode), Pulse (SIAE added on CDs)
This year means also the end of
the Promo CDs which accompany the release of a new album, as
factory-pressed CDs. From now on, the promo CDs will be CDRs (without
Catalogue-numbers), with or without original sleeve (most of the time,
the sleeves will be printed with printers and not factory-printed
inlays.)
I won't
report those CDRs because it can't be proved that they were released
through the major company (EMI) and can be easily self-made.
